Way Out of Your League

Yep, from the wonderful RPG world episodes, Mai says that to Joey after he runs to the rescue of the damsel in distress. Yes I am JouXMai fan if you haven't been able to tell by looking at my gallery.
I love Mai, and it's retarded that it's taken me this long to draw just her.
She's a very strong female character, which is well needed in the show, and plus with the way Jounouchi-kun is protective over his sister, he needs a girl ^_^ and Mai is perfect for him somehow.
The more I think about it (After Katie Chan saying I look like her) I kinda do. If I was a little older and dressed like that, I think I would look like her. Even the way she is I'm kinda like her, rude, yet sweet when I wanna.

Anyway, about the image. My scanner totally screwed up her face. She looks squished>< gomen-nasai. I think my scanner did okay on the coloring though. The background was supposed to be like the 'Elegant Egatisc' card. (Those that don't watch YGO, just nod your head) I just got lazy and played with the colors and didn't try for the kaliediscope look. Well, first pic of Mai...so far, and I like how she turned out.
